In this manuscript, a summary review on recent advances in Lithium-Ion battery integration with thermal management systems for electric vehicles was conducted. Based on the review performed, the following recommendations and future works can be drawn: Subsequent research ought to concentrate on both heating and cooling techniques.
Currently, investigations into lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are increasingly directed towards the creation of nanocomposite materials that emphasize multifunctional capabilities, scalability, and sustainability. The advancement of gradient-structured nanocomposites is a promising strategy for enhancing lithium-ion battery (LIB) technologies .
In recent years, substantial research has been dedicated to crafting advanced batteries with exceptional conductivity, power density, and both gravimetric and volumetric energy. The electrodes within lithium-ion batteries play a pivotal role in defining the battery’s overall performance, lifespan, capacity, and cycle stability .
Lithium-ion batteries have garnered significant attention, especially with the increasing demand for electric vehicles and renewable energy storage applications. In recent years, substantial research has been dedicated to crafting advanced batteries with exceptional conductivity, power density, and both gravimetric and volumetric energy.
Moreover, alternating-current signals can be successfully charged into the lithium-ion battery by using the thin-film transistor as the on-chip rectifier and also the photodetector works well by using the charged battery as the on-chip power, demonstrating collaborative capabilities of each device to achieve systematic functions.
The drawbacks of traditional electric vehicles, such as long charging times and large battery sizes, can be mitigated through the incorporation of nanocomposite materials in lithium-ion batteries.
