For example, for case sizes ranging from EIA 1206 (3.2mm x 1.6mm) to an EIA 2924 (7.3mm x 6.1mm), it is quite easy to achieve capacitance ratings from 100μF to 2.2mF, respectively.

In comparison to batteries, supercapacitors exhibit a superior power density and the ability to rapidly store or discharge energy . Nevertheless, their energy density is lower due to the constraints associated with electrode surface charge storage.
